Noreen Kershaw

Noreen Kershaw (born on October 16, 1950 in Bury, Lancashire, England) is an English television actress who portrays WPC Phyllis Dobbs, the desk officer in the BBC television series Life on Mars.
She originated the title role of the play Shirley Valentine, later made famous by Pauline Collins. She had previously been a star of the long running sitcom, Watching and also works as a television director, directing episodes of the top rated ITV1 soap opera, Coronation Street, and more recently, the comedy drama, Shameless.
