The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon (more commonly known simply as Princess Margaret) (21 August 1930 - 9 February 2002) was a senior member of the British Royal Family. She was the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II and the daughter of King George VI. By 1982, she was the 6th in line to the throne.
Ashes to AshesEdit
In 1982, while visiting her favourite dressmaker in Soho London, Princess Margaret's Daimler limousine was obstructing the road as DCI Gene Hunt was speeding to a murder scene in the nearby strip club. At the same time, a man holding a penis-shaped advertisement for a peep show passed the car, which she saw with disgust. Shouting at Princess Margaret's car, Hunt said, "Sixth in line to the throne? Gene Hunt does not wait for the sixth in line to the bloody throne!".
Later that day, the Commissioner of the Fenchurch East police station received a phone call from Buckingham Palace regarding the man holding the advertisement and a "foul-mouthed" police officer. (A2A Series 2: Episode 1)
