Richard Mark Hammond (nicknamed The Hamster) (born December 19, 1969) is a British TV presenter mostly recognised for co-hosting the 2002-15 format of Top Gear and several other TV programmes.
Ashes to Ashes[]
In a special non-canon mini-episode of Ashes to Ashes, Hammond plays a 1981 counterpart of himself (though in real life he would have been 12 years old) who admires DCI Gene Hunt's Audi Quattro until getting caught by him. After a brief conversation between Hammond and the team, he is allowed to briefly drive the Quattro around the small area and invites DI Alex Drake to join him. This angers and slightly humiliates the DCI.
